Are ready to write or finish your non-fiction book! The Durango Rec Center is offering an off-site location for you to get your book done! Come to the beautiful Two Bears Farm at 2725 CR 250 in Durango weekly and get support from Christina Shelley Albrecht, a local published author.
You will have 6 weeks in this class.
- The first week we will discuss the benefits of both self-publishing and traditional publishing. We will focus on your book’s organization, create or polish it, and get started writing.
- Weeks 2 – 5 will be focused on writing and preliminary editing. Each week you will set goals for what you will do before the next class in order to stay on track.
- Week 6 we will polish your first draft. If you need more time, we will discuss your plan of action and how to follow through. You will receive resources for editing, book cover design, and publishing along with some marketing tips.
